Master’s scholarships in France by French Embassy in Uganda 2023-2025

To promote the movement of students between Uganda and France, along with achieving high academic standards, the French Embassy in Uganda and TotalEnergies Uganda (TEPU) are collaborating to support three scholarships that will be shared in cost.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicant must be a Ugandan national.
• Applicant must not be older than 28 years at the time of application.
• Applicant must be studying or have studied in a field of study relevant to agronomy or agricultural engineering.
• Applicant must be a graduate of a Ugandan higher education institution.
• Applicant must have obtained excellent grades (GPA A: 80-100) in their recent degree.
• Applicants with a knowledge of French would be an added advantage.

Application Process:

• Interested candidates must submit an online application along with the following documents:
  • Motivation letter (1 page).
  • Letter of recommendation from a professor at a current or former University.
  • Copies of diplomas and official university transcripts.
  • Detailed CV, Identity document,
  • A diploma attesting to the candidate’s level of French (if applicable)

• Selected candidates are awarded the following benefits:
  • Full coverage of training costs.
  • Full social security coverage.
  • Help and assistance from Campus France and TotalEnergies throughout the stay in France.
  • Status of "France Excellence Scholarship Holder".
  • Accompaniment by the French Embassy before traveling to France.
  • A return air ticket for the duration of the Master’s program.
  • Payment of a monthly allowance covering maintenance and accommodation expenses.
  • Facilitating the obtention of a French residence permit.
