GREAT Scholarships - Nigeria at University of Surrey 2025

The GREAT Scholarship from the University of Surrey, in collaboration with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, offers a £10,000 scholarship for one successful applicant.

Eligibility Criteria:

Citizenship & Residency:

• Must be a citizen and resident of Nigeria.
• Offer for Postgraduate Course:
• You should have an unconditional offer for a full-time postgraduate course starting in September 2025 at the University of Surrey.

Relevant Experience or Interest:

• You need to have relevant work experience or a strong interest in your chosen subject area.

Commitment to the UK Experience: 

• You must be willing to fully engage in the UK Higher Education experience, including attending classes, participating in extracurricular activities, and promoting the benefits of studying at a UK university.

Ambassadorship:

• Represent the GREAT scholarship by attending networking events and engaging with future scholars and applicants.

Future Contributions:

• You’ll need to show how you plan to contribute to socio-economic development after completing your studies in the UK.

Ongoing Engagement:

• You’ll need to maintain contact with the British Council and share your experiences of studying in the UK with future candidates and scholars.

• Application for Postgraduate Program:
• You first need to apply for a full-time postgraduate course at the University of Surrey and receive an unconditional offer for September 2025.

• You’ll need your application ID (URN) to apply for the scholarship.
