A competitive grant of up to $1000 is offered by the Institute for Asian Studies Student Scholarship to one or two deserving full-time PSU students earning a degree who are enrolled in academic programs at Portland State or overseas with an emphasis on Asia and/or Asian language studies.
Eligibility criteria for the Institute for Asian Studies Scholarship:
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
- Applicants must be fully enrolled or accepted for full-time enrollment at Portland State University as a degree-seeking undergraduate or graduate student.
- Applicants must be pursuing an academic program at PSU or abroad with a focus on Asia and/or Asian language studies.
