Eligibility for Harvard University - International Academy Scholars Program in the US:
- The applicants for the International Academy Scholars Program can be of any nationality.
- The candidates should have recently completed their Ph.D. or nearing the completion of their Ph.D. or a doctoral program in Social Sciences.
- The pre-doctoral applicants must have finished the field research and should be writing their dissertation at the application time.
- The candidates with Ph.D. should have completed their Ph.D. program within three years of the application deadline.
- Applicants who hold or have completed another Harvard postdoctoral fellowship are not eligible.

These awards are open to individuals who have earned a PhD or comparable doctoral degree within two years of the August 1, 2025 start date and advanced doctoral candidates in the social sciences. Candidates nearing dissertation completion must provide degree conferral documentation from their university registrar by June 30, 2025, for the August 1, 2025, start. Please note that individuals who currently hold or have completed another Harvard postdoctoral fellowship are ineligible. If you meet these criteria, you are eligible to apply.
