KU Leuven Scholarship for Africa 2025

KU Leuven ASEAN Scholarship is awarded to an outstanding student from Africa who wishes to pursue an eligible master's program offered at KU Leuven.

Eligibility Criteria of KU Leuven Scholarship for Africa:

• Applicants must be African nationals.
• Applicants must enroll in an eligible master's program for the academic year 2025-26.
• Applicants must have completed their latest university degree program outside Flanders.
• Applicants enrolling in the following programs are not eligible:
  • Preparatory programmes
  • Bridging programmes
  • Distance learning.
• Applicants must fulfill the following English language requirements (excluding native speakers, students who completed English taught program in specific countries)
  • Online TOEFL - min. overall score of 94
  • IELTS - min. overall score of 7
  • Cambridge CPE - min. level C2

Application Process:

• All eligible candidates must complete the application for an eligible master's program at the university.
• The application should include the KU Leuven Scholarships & Master Mind Candidacy Form.
• The candidates must then register the scholarship candidacy via the online registration tool.

Value of the Scholarship:

The successful candidates are awarded the following benefits:

• Full fee waiver
• Allowance - EUR 4,000

NB: Applicants cannot combine this scholarship with another scholarship paid by KU Leuven or an Erasmus Mundus Scholarship.
