The NUS Sports Scholarship is awarded to highly talented individuals who possess outstanding academic and sports participation and representation records.NUS Sports Scholars are exceptionally well-rounded people who are dedicated to raising the bar for NUS Sports.
Eligibility criteria for the NUS Sports Scholarship by the National University of Singapore:
- Applicants must be Singapore Citizens.
- Applicants must have strong leadership qualities and potential.
- Applicants must have a good co-curricular activities record, particularly in sports.
- Applicants must possess a good Singapore-Cambridge GCE A Level, local Polytechnic Diploma, International Baccalaureate Diploma, NUS High School Diploma, or equivalent qualifications.
- Applicants must be applying for admission to a full-time undergraduate degree program at NUS. Limited scholarships are available for dentistry and medicine.
- Transfer applicants from local or overseas universities are not eligible.
Value of the scholarship:
- Subsidized tuition fees (after MOE Tuition Grant subsidy)
- S$6,000 annual living allowance
- S$4,700 annual accommodation allowance if scholar is staying on campus
- Guaranteed Student Exchange Programme (SEP) placement with one of NUS's overseas partner universities for one semester (not applicable for NUS Medicine and Dentistry undergraduate programmes)
- Bond-free scholarship
