Public Interest Law Scholarship (PLIS) is a merit-based scholarship, offered by the School of Law at Northeastern University, Boston.
Eligibility Criteria for the Public Interest Law Scholarship:
- The application is open to all nationals.
- It is a renewable, full-tuition scholarship is granted each year to several exceptional applicants who possess impressive academic profiles and extensive experience in social justice.
Selection Process:
- To be considered for the full-tuition Public Interest Law Scholarship (PILS) applicants must first gain admission to the law school.
- All prospective students who submit their applications by the March 1 application deadline will automatically be considered for the Public Interest Law Scholarship. No additional application is required.
- To bolster their candidacy for PILS may respond to the social justice optional essay question. This essay should be labeled as a PILS essay in the heading of the document and should be submitted with their application materials via LSAC.org.
