Eligibility Criteria for the Regents Scholar Program:

- The scholarship is awarded to students pursuing Undergraduate course at the Washington State University.
- The University considers the following criteria for the Distinguished Regents Scholar Award:
- Exceptional academic achievement.
- Community, civic, and co-curricular involvement.
- Academic Reference which includes the student’s achievements and future potential, as mentioned by the nominator.
- Students with a 3.6 minimum high school GPA must enroll full-time at the WSU Pullman campus.
Application Process:
- High schools in Washington are invited to nominate two of their top students for this scholarship program.
- To be considered for the award, all nominees must apply for the scholarship.
- Deadlines
- October 1: Nominations open.
- October 31: Counselor nomination deadline.
- December 1: Student application deadline.
Value of the Scholarship:
- Regents Scholars: All qualified nominees who complete the admission and scholarship application process by the deadline will receive an award amount of $4,000 per year for four years.
- Distinguished Regents Scholar: Full tuition and mandatory fees for up to 18 credits per semester, for four years.
The Regents Scholar awards are subject to yearly renewal requirements:
- Continuous enrollment (fall and spring semester each academic year) on the Pullman campus.
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average per academic year.
- Completion of at least 24 graded credits each year.
- Enrolled in an undergraduate (non-professional) program of study.
