Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarships 2025

Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarships are open to domestic and foreign students applying for HDRs.

Eligibility criteria for the Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarships:

• Candidates applying for Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarships must either be domestic or international students enrolled in an accredited HDR course of study at any Australian Higher Education Provider (HEP).
• Applicants must not be receiving funding from any other sources if income is greater than 75% of that applicant's RTP Stipend rate during their study to support their general living costs.
• Applicants of Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarships must not be in receipt of an equivalent scholarship/award from the Commonwealth.
• The maximum duration of the scholarship is 2 years for research masters while for doctoral programs, it's 3-4 years.

Value of the Scholarship:

This scholarship offers

• Tuition Fee
• stipend for general living costs of up to AUD 33,511
• allowance related to the ancillary cost of research degrees.
