Scholarships for international students at Luleå University of Technology (LTU) 2024

Luleå University of Technology (LTU) offers two new scholarships aimed at top academic students. This applies to the bachelor programme in Mineral Resource Engineering and the master programme in Electrification.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants must be in good academic standing.
• Applicants must identify as non-Swedish.
• Applicants must be enrolled either in Mineral Resource Engineering (Bachelor's) or Electrification (Master's).

Application Process:

• Interested candidates must apply online for the scholarship.
• The candidates must submit the following documents:
  • A Curriculum Vitae,
  • A letter of recommendation,
  • A motivation letter, The following questions should be answered in the motivation letter:
    • Why do you want to study this programme?
    • What other qualities do you have besides academic excellence?
    • What are your career aspirations?

Value of the Scholarship:

• The scholarship is awarded based on the following quotas:
  • Students from countries within the EU/EEA and Switzerland (non-Swedish citizens):
    • Can apply for a scholarship that covers living expenses. SEK 12,000 per month.
  • Students from a country outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland:
    • Can apply for a scholarship that covers the tuition fee at LTU for the whole length of the programme, provided the study results are satisfactory.
