The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Luxembourg (MFEA) offers a limited number of scholarships to professionals from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine, and Moldova. The scholarship is designed to support those who wish to pursue the Master in European Legal Studies (MELS Online) in Luxembourg, particularly for those with financial need.
Eligibility
- Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree and preferably have a diploma in law, political science, economics, European studies, or modern languages.
- Proficiency in both English and French is required, with a minimum of C1/C2 proficiency in one language and B1/B2 ability in the other.
- Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to completing the master's program, which includes attending 4 academic weekends per semester and following the online learning components.
- A letter of acceptance from the employer to allow attendance of the academic weekends is also required.
Application Process
- To apply, candidates must complete the MELS online application form, submit a letter of motivation explaining their reasons for applying and ability to cover certain costs, and provide a letter from their employer confirming their support for attendance.
- The selection process includes online video interviews and a final decision by the Selection Committee. The deadline for applications is June 30, 2025.
