South Asia Excellence Scholarship at University of Newcastle 2024

The purpose of the South Asia Excellence Scholarship is to draw exceptional candidates to the University of Newcastle. This merit-based award encourages applicants to keep pushing themselves to be the greatest versions of themselves by recognizing and rewarding those with a strong academic background.

Eligibility for the South Asia Excellence Scholarship:

• A passport from one of the following South Asian nations is required: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
• Candidates must be starting their studies in one of the University's approved undergraduate or graduate coursework programs (except programs offered at offshore campuses and ELICOS, Enabling, Non-Award, Higher Degrees by Research).
• Applicant should be classified as a full-fee paying, international student.
• As stated in their offer letter, students should be starting a qualifying program at an Australian campus or online.
• Candidates are not permitted to receive any additional university scholarships unless the institution has granted special dispensation in advance.

• Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Honours) (Diagnostic Radiography)
• Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Honours) (Nuclear Medicine)
• Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Honours) (Radiation Therapy)
• Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine
• Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy
• Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours)
• Bachelor of Podiatry.

Application Process:

Scholarships will be given out automatically to students who accept an invitation to enroll in a non-quota program at the University of Newcastle and who will start their studies there.
