The Student Media Grant Program is offered at Texas A&M University allowing the candidates to highlight the human stories behind major global issues. These grants are funded by Texas A&M’s Howard G. Buffett Foundation Endowed Chair on Conflict and Development.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The applicants must preferably hold a degree in tourism and hospitality.
- The applicant must be motivated to highlight the human stories behind major global issues.
- The applicants must be in good academic standing.
- The applicants must exhibit proficiency in English.
Application Process:
- Interested candidates must apply along with the following documents:
- Cover page, Thematic focus,
- Motivation for doing this work (1/2 to 1 page),
- Planned activities over a minimum 2-month period, specific plans and deliverables for media (photography, film, radio, podcasts, blogs, etc.),
- Timeline, Budget for travel plans,
- Recommendation Letter.
- The candidates must submit the application to smgp@condev.org
