The purpose of the scholarship is to enable undergraduate students studying Korean language courses, who have an interest in journalism, media, and/or communications, to participate in semester-long exchange programs in South Korea.
Eligibility Criteria for The Hyun Family Korea Scholarship at University of Queensland 2025:
- Applicants must submit their application to the Head.
- Applicants must enrol in an approved program in the relevant field.
- Applicants should not hold another travel grant or scholarship.
- Applicants should not have previously held the scholarship.
- Students must have been accepted into the UQ Abroad Program at a host university in Korea.
- Applicants must submit a personal statement as outlined.
Application Process:
- Students should go through an application process that primarily includes submitting an online application form.
Value of the scholarship:
- Two scholarships worth AUD 5,000 are awarded annually based on the head's recommendation.
