With great pleasure, the university announces the return of its Instrumental Scholarships for September 2024, to complement the BA (Hons) Music program. Students who are awarded an Instrumental Scholarship will be paid £700 in cash. All full-time, qualifying, self-funded students will be taken into account. With the Instrumental Scholarship, you will have the chance to collaborate directly with Northumbria's music faculty members and hone your performance abilities.
Eligibility for The Instrumental Scholarships at Northumbria University:
- Applying for a Full-Time Undergraduate course beginning in September 2024 is what the candidate should have done. Students in their Foundation Year may also apply.
- Applicants should decide on Northumbria as their firm choice by June 6, 2024.
- As they handle the Instrument scholarship payment on behalf of the University, the applicant should register with Student Finance England (SFE), Student Finance Wales (SFW), or Student Finance Northern Ireland (SFNI). For SAAS to pay the student's academic scholarship on behalf of the University, Scottish students must apply to the Students Award Agency for Scotland (SAAS) for maintenance assistance.
- Alternatively, to make a single payment for the academic scholarship, a Scottish student who does not want to apply to SAAS for maintenance money must give the university their bank account information. Scottish students who are selected for a scholarship but have not applied to SAAS for maintenance money will hear from the university regarding their scholarship payment during the first semester. Direct payment to your bank account will be made.
