World Wildlife Fund - WWF Professional Development Grants (PDGs) are open to mid-career conservationists who wish to study short-term, non-degree training to improve their skills and knowledge.

Eligibility for World Wildlife Fund - WWF Professional Development Grants (PDGs):

  • Applicants of World Wildlife Fund - WWF Professional Development Grants (PDGs) must belong to an eligible country and be residing and working in their home country.
  • A minimum of 3 years of work experience in a field related to conservation in their home country is required.
  • Candidates applying for World Wildlife Fund - WWF Professional Development Grants (PDGs) must have applied or are already accepted to take up training.
  • The current work and proposed training must be helpful to improve conservation in their home country.
  • Applicants must not be enrolled in an academic program and also have approval from the employer to take up training and the promise of continued employment.
  • Candidates should possess a bank account that accepts US dollars and the account must be in their name.
  • Candidates who received funding from EFN previously are ineligible.
  • Training must begin at least 90 days after the application deadline and be finished within 6 months.
  • The training must not lead to an academic degree.
