The York University's VISTA Masters Scholarships is intended to provide financial support to a highly skilled candidate in order to continue research in the fields firmly aligned with objectives of the VISTA programme.
Eligibility for York University's VISTA Masters Scholarships Canada, 2024:
- Candidates from all nationals can apply.
- Applied for the Full-time master's program in fields of Psychology, Kinesiology & Health Science, Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, Biology, Physics & Astronomy, Mathematics & Statistics, Philosophy, Science & Technology Studies, Digital Media, Film, and Visual Arts.
- Application must be supported by VISTA Core or Associate member to would eventually be the applicant's supervisor.
- Research experience in fields aligned with the VISTA program.
Selection Criteria:
- The application is evaluated in the following manner:
- Academic Excellence: 40% weightage.
- Research potential/experience: 20% weightage.
- Research proposal and training plan: 30% weightage.
- Innovation, Leadership, and Initiative: 10% weightage.
