Cameron G Scholderer Scholarship 2025

Cameron G. Scholderer Scholarships are awarded to students of the Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management. Students must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Students must have participated in the South Beach Wine and Food Festival or have a proven interest in beverage innovation, as well as demonstrate exemplary leadership that reflects the legacy of Cameron G. Scholderer.

Eligibility for the G. Scholderer Scholarship:

Applicants must:

• Be enrolled in the Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management, pursuing a degree in Beverage Management.
• Be classified as a Junior, enrolled in at least 9 credit hours per semester.
• Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
• Have either:
  • Participated in the South Beach Wine and Food Festival (SOBEWFF),
    OR
  • Demonstrated a proven interest in beverage innovation (must submit a short essay with examples and details).
• Demonstrate exemplary leadership aligned with Cameron G. Scholderer’s legacy (evidence to be provided in the essay and recommendation letter).

Award of the G. Scholderer Scholarship:

The students will receive USD 1,250.00.

Application Process:

Submit a letter of recommendation from either:

• A beverage management faculty member,
  OR
• A representative from the SOBEWFF management team, highlighting the applicant’s leadership skills.
