The purpose of this prize is to recognise excellence in clinical practice by students in the Department of Communication Disorders at the University of Canterbury.
Eligibility criteria for the D Bevan Holdgate Prize in Speech and Language Therapy:
- Applicants must have enrolled in a specified course in the Third Professional Year of the Bachelor of Speech and Language Pathology Honours degree programme at the University.
- The prize is awarded by the University Council on the recommendation of the Head of the Department of Communication Disorders.
- In making the recommendation, the Head will consider clinical competence
Value of D Bevan Holdgate Prize in Speech and Language Therapy:
Successful applicants will get a prize consisting of a book or professional material, up to a value of $100.
