Scholarship Overview: Exploring the Structure and Dynamics of Complex I and ATP Synthase in Phototrophic Bacteria
1. Eligibility
- The scholarship is open to international (including EU) and UK (home) students.
- Applicants must have or be on track to obtain at least an upper second-class honours degree or equivalent.
- The program welcomes candidates with backgrounds in biological, chemical, physical sciences, or mathematics, especially those interested in applying their skills to biological research.

- The Yorkshire Bioscience Doctoral Training Partnership (YBDTP) aims to attract exceptional applicants, particularly from underrepresented groups in science.

2. Application Process
- Interested candidates should submit an Expression of Interest form by 5pm, Friday 14th March 2025.
- You can apply for up to three projects within the YBDTP.
3. Value/Benefits
- The studentship is fully funded for four years, including a tax-free annual stipend at the standard UKRI rate (£19,237 for 2024/25 entry).
- This funding covers tuition fees at the UK rate, as well as research costs.
