Eligibility for the Faculty Scholarships for the Master in Theology:
- Applicant should have Bachelor's degree and must demonstrate the capacity to make a significant contribution to the academic excellence of the Faculty.
- Candidates must be enrolled for the one-year Master's in Theology (60 EC) or 3-year Master's in Theology (180 EC) at the university to avail of this scholarship.
Selection criteria:
This criterion can be assessed on the basis of the academic transcript, a writing sample (e.g. Bachelor's thesis), a motivational letter, recommendation letters, and/or a Skype interview.
Documents required:
- A letter of motivation stating which area of Theology.
- CV.
- Two letters of recommendation.
- Transcripts.
- An academic writing sample/essay. It is preferable that the subject of the writing sample is related to the academic discipline of theology, broadly conceived (including biblical, historical, empirical, or constructive/systematic perspectives). The essay should be between 2000-2500 words (excluding bibliography).
Value of the scholarship:
This scholarship amount (€10,500) covers tuition fees (€ 2,314 for the academic year 2023-2024), plus living expenses.
