Harvey D. and Helen J. Cohen/PFLAG - Kansas City Scholarship for LGBT Students

The Harvey D. and Helen J. Cohen PFLAG Scholarship is available through the University of Central Missouri for an undergraduate or graduate student in academic good standing that shows promise of leadership and academic ability. Preference will be given to students that are associated with the PFLAG, specifically the Kansas City Chapter or any student associated with a student organization with similar values.

Eligibility criteria for Harvey D. and Helen J. Cohen/PFLAG - Kansas City Scholarship for LGBT Students -

• The applicants from all nationalities are eligible for this scholarship.
• The applicants must be an undergraduate or graduate student.
• The applicants must have good academic credentials.
• The applicant must demonstrate leadership skills and academic ability.

Application process -

• The applicants must describe any involvement they have with any LGBTQ+ organizations, such as PFLAG KC or Passages.

Note - Preference will be given to students that are associated with the PFLAG, specifically the Kansas City Chapter or any student associated with a student organization with similar values.
