Eligibility Criteria for James J. Garvey Graduate English Language Scholarship at Colorado State University 2026:

• Be a full-time graduate student in the College of Liberal Arts at Colorado State University.
• Maintain a minimum 3.66 GPA in relevant coursework.
• Be enrolled in at least their second semester of graduate study.
• Meet one of the following academic criteria:
  • Have a concentration in one of the following areas:
    • Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL)
    • Communication Development
    • Composition/Rhetoric
    • English Education
  • OR have completed a minimum of six credits of language courses (or their equivalent).
• Primary consideration is given to students with first-generation college student status.
