Eligibility
To be considered for the Linda Davila Lyerla Memorial Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Minimum GPA:

• A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Enrollment Status:

• The student must be enrolled part-time in a teacher preparation program.
• For undergraduate or credential students, this means at least 6 units, and for graduate students, at least 3 units.

Program Enrollment:

• Applicants must be enrolled in one of the following programs:
  • ChaD-Plan A
  • TED (Teacher Education)

Special Education

Special Considerations:

• Adults returning to school after a gap and students from underrepresented populations in the field of teaching are given special consideration.
• Additionally, the recipient of the scholarship must submit a thank-you note to the donor, expressing appreciation for the support.
