Ralph Barclay Braun Memorial Scholarship at Southern Cross University 2024-25

The Ralph Barclay Braun Memorial Scholarship is given to students who have officially been accepted into the Bachelor of Science with Honours program. These students must be residing, full-time, at the National Marine Science Centre (NMSC) — and their supervisor must also be residing, full-time, at the NMSC.

Eligibility Criteria of the Scholarship:

• Applicants may come from any nationality.
• Applicant must be enrolled full-time and on-campus at the University’s National Marine Science Centre in the Bachelor of Science with Honours program.
• Applications should provide a copy of their undergraduate record.
• Applicants must have attained a GPA higher than 5.5 for the last year of their undergraduate degree.

Application Process:

• Interested candidates must apply online for the scholarship.
• The candidates must provide a copy of their bachelor's degree record.
• They must submit a 100-word statement outlining a passion for marine science research and a commitment to developing a research career path.
• The candidates must submit a one-page (A4) research proposal.

Value of the Scholarship:

• The selected candidates are awarded AUD 5,000 for one year.
