Dedicated as a memorial to the Honorable Sir Thomas McIlwraith, KCMG, LLD, three-time Premier of Queensland, in honor of his invaluable and long-serving contributions to the Colony, as well as his vision and broad-minded spirit of statesmanship in the interests of Queensland, Australasia, and the Empire at large.
Eligibility for the Sir Thomas McIlwraith Engineering Scholarship:
You're eligible if you:
- are enrolled full-time in one of the following approved programs:
- Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)
- Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)/ Master of Engineering
- a dual engineering program
- have completed at least 44 units but less than 52 units towards an approved program.
Selection criteria:
- Academic achievements
- Leadership achievements
- Community service and engagement
- Any other matter the selection committee considers relevant for your future academic success.
Application Process:
Students need to submit an application form to the university to be eligible for the scholarship.
Value of the scholarship:
The students will receive a value equal to the annual income from the endowment.
