The Johnston Foundation Prizes in Company Law were established in 2015 by Derek and Susan Johnston. The main purpose of The Johnston Foundation Prizes in Company Law 2024 is to recognize and reward the students achieving the best grades in LAW 464 Company Law.
Eligibility for The Johnston Foundation Prizes in Company Law:
- Two prizes will be awarded annually to the students achieving the highest marks in LAW 464 Company Law. One prize will be awarded in Semester One and the other in Semester Two.
Application Process:
Students do not need to apply for this scholarship, award, or prize or complete an online application form. It is awarded on the recommendation of the relevant faculty or University of Auckland committee.
Value of The Johnston Foundation Prizes in Company Law:
- The Johnston Foundation Prizes in Company Law 2024 will be up to NZD 1,000 each.
The Johnston Foundation Prizes in Company Law 2024 will be awarded by the University of Auckland Council upon the recommendation of the Dean of Law. In the event of a tie, the Dean of Law shall determine if the prizes may be shared.
