    Eligibility for Turing Scheme Funding at the University of Essex:

    • The applicant must be enrolled at the University of Essex as a current student and be wrapping up a semester or year abroad with Essex Abroad.
    • Only the months of August 31, 2024, to September 1, 2023, are eligible for funding.
    • The applicant will only receive support for time spent abroad during these dates if their term or year abroad falls outside of this window.
    • The candidates must go to the host nation in person for their term or year abroad program.
    • The candidate cannot be a citizen of the nation they are visiting.
    • If candidates get money, they will be required to sign a grant agreement in which they will legally accept your donation and agree to the responsibilities that come with it.

    Application Process:

    Candidates don't need to apply for financing through the Turing Scheme to spend their year or term abroad. Your University of Essex email address will be used by the institution to get in touch with you.
