University of Birmingham Nigeria Outstanding Achievement Scholarships 2024

The University of Birmingham is pleased to announce the award of 12 scholarships of £4,000 for Nigeria-domiciled students applying for entry to an undergraduate program at the University starting September 2024.

Eligibility for the University of Birmingham Nigeria Outstanding Achievement Scholarships:

• Students should have received an offer and selected the University of Birmingham as their firm choice for a full-time undergraduate program starting September 2024. The student must be entering the first year of an undergraduate program based at Birmingham’s UK campus.
• Students should meet the academic conditions of their offer to the program.
• Students need to be classed as Nigeria-domiciled. 
• Students need to be classed by the University as an overseas fee payer for tuition fee purposes and be able to pay the outstanding tuition fees not covered by the scholarship.
• Students must have sufficient funds to cover the full cost of living at the University of Birmingham, plus any visa/travel expenses associated with studying in the UK.
• Students should start their studies at the University in September 2024 (the scholarship award may not be deferred).
• Students must be registered with, and have their undergraduate study application attached to, one of our local representatives listed here in alphabetical order: Bridge House Counselling, Brookstone International Foundation School Abuja, Brookstone International Foundation School Port Harcourt, IDP, Oxbridge Tutorial College (Lagos and Lekki), SI-UK (‘Study In-UK’) and Zamani College.
• Students must submit their scholarship application through one of our local representatives by the deadline; of 28 June 2024.
• Upon enrolment in September 2024, pay their net tuition fees for the first year by 1 November, immediately following enrolment.

Application Process:

Students need to submit an application form to the university to be eligible for the scholarship.

Value for the Scholarship:

The scholarship is 12 x GBP 4,000 towards tuition fees (for the first year only) of a full-time undergraduate degree program at the University of Birmingham UK campus, starting September 2024.
