The GuateFuturo-RMIT University joint scholarship is intended to give exceptional Guatemalan students who wish to pursue Master's by Coursework, master's by Research, and PhD programs at RMIT additional financial support. It is jointly supported by RMIT and Fundación GuateFuturo.
Eligibility for GuateFuturo-RMIT University Joint Scholarship:
- The applicant must be a citizen of Guatemala.
- The candidate needs to have an offer from RMIT for a Master of Coursework, Master of Research, or PhD program.
- The applicant must have received a GuateFuturo scholarship or loan.
- The candidate must start enrolling full-time as an international student onshore.
Value of the Scholarship:
- English Language Studies Funding (ELICOS) for a maximum of ten weeks per student
- Two qualified students may receive a 50% tuition fee scholarship for the Master by Coursework program in any discipline.
- Three qualified candidates will each receive a full tuition fee scholarship for either two years of a Masters by Research program (with no chance of extension) or three years of a PhD program (with a potential extension to 3.5 years).
