ICP Connect Scholarship at Ku Leuven 2025-26

The ICP Connect Scholarship at Ku Leuven is offered to outstanding students from selected countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America by VLIR-UOS.

Eligibility Criteria of ICP Connect Scholarship at Ku Leuven:

• Applicants must be from the selected list of nationalities.
• Applicants must enroll in an eligible master's program for the academic year 2025-26.
• Applicants must surpass all the admission requirements set by the university.
• Applicants must fulfill the following age criteria to be considered for the scholarship:
  • Master's - not above 35 years as on 1 January of the enrollment year 
  • Advanced Master's - not above 45 years 
• Applicants currently employed or aiming for a career in higher education, government or civil society are given first consideration.

Application Process:

• All eligible candidates must first apply for an eligible degree program.
• They must then submit the following documents:
  • Standard admission related documents
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • The ICP Connect scholarship document
  • Applicants with an architecture background may upload the digital portfolio (For the Master of Human Settlements).

Value of the Scholarship:

The successful candidates are awarded the following benefits:

• EUR 1,400 p/m for the following purposes:
  • Living and accommodation costs in Belgium
  • Installation costs in Belgium
  • Indirect travel costs
  • Health insurance
  • Tuition fees
• Travel Expenses -  Round-trip economy ticket to Belgium

NB: Applicants must not have previously received a scholarship from the Belgian government  and must not have enrolled for a study programme at a Belgian higher education institution before 1 January of the year of entry.
