The award is designed to support the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology Graduate Researchers enrolled in a Ph.D. program who require two to three months to write up research from their thesis or further their Ph.D. research through publications once they have submitted their thesis. The award is valued at approximately AUD 10,000 over 12 weeks.
Eligibility criteria:
- Applicants must have submitted their thesis for examination and be awaiting the examination result.
- Applicants should not undertake full-time or substantial regular part-time employment (> 0.2 FTE) during the tenure of the award.
- Applicants must have submitted their thesis within three years and six months (FTE) of the candidature period.
- Applicants must have the support of their supervisors.
Selection criteria:
- Quality of the research proposal
- Likelihood of top-tier publications arising from the proposal
- Financial need.
Value:
Successful applicants of the PhD Write Up Award will receive a scholarship value of AUD 10,500 over 12 weeks.
