Jacob Blaustein Center for Scientific Cooperation is offering fellowships to postdoctoral candidates. Blaustein Postdoctoral Fellows undertake fundamental and applied studies in various fields related to drylands, including desert ecology, solar energy, environmental physics, rainfed and irrigated agriculture, soil-plant-atmosphere interactions, hydrology, aquaculture, environmental microbiology, desalination and water treatment, and biotechnology.
Eligibility for BCSC Postdoctoral Fellowships:
- Applicants can be of any nationality.
- Applicants must hold a PhD by the start date of the postdoctoral position.
- The PhD degree must have been obtained within the past five years from the start date of the postdoctoral position.
- Applicants who received their PhD at BGU are ineligible.
- Recipients are eligible to apply for a second year.

- Copies of the undergraduate and graduate degree diplomas and grade transcripts.
- Three referees send reference letters.
Benefits:
- Successful applicants are awarded the following benefits:
- Blaustein Fellowship - An annual stipend of USD 26,000 paid in Israeli currency.
- The Distinguished Blaustein Fellow receives an annual stipend of approximately USD 29,000.
