Eligibility criteria for the Flame Stoppers Māori & Pasifika Quantity Surveying Excellence Scholarship:

- Māori or Pacific descent
- New Zealand citizens or permanent residents
- a member of the New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NZIQS)
- Applicants must be enrolled in one of the following degree programs, majoring in quantity surveying/construction economics:
- Bachelor of Construction (Construction Economics) - UNITEC
- Bachelor of Construction (Quantity Surveying) - Massey University
- Bachelor of Construction (Quantity Surveying) – Otago Polytechnic
- Bachelor of Construction (Quantity Surveying) – Future Skills Academy
- Bachelor of Construction (Quantity Surveying) – Ara Institute of Canterbury
- Bachelor of Construction (Quantity Surveying) – Southern Institute of Technology.
- Applicants must be commencing their second year of degree study in 2025.
Value:
The value of the scholarship is up to $8000 per year to cover academic course fees for the recipient’s second and third years of study.
