Perry Foundation Study Awards 2024

Eligibility for the Perry Foundation Study Awards:

• Students must be undertaking PhD research in an agriculture-related discipline.
• The awards are normally open to graduates holding a first or upper-second-class honors degree in an appropriate subject.
• Candidates sitting final examinations during the summer of the year for which the application is made will be considered but awards will be subject to a satisfactory examination result.

Applications for postgraduate funding should state clearly but briefly:

• The reason for which financing is needed for the PhD study.
• The anticipated results/advantages of the "project" regarding the goals of the Perry Foundation as well as any applicable personal benefits.
• The essential resource needs (facilities and knowledge).
• An overview budget that lists all necessary expenses (such as course fees, living/stipend/travel, materials, contribution to o/heads, staff costs, other expenditures such hire charges, specialist fees, and laboratory charges) and indicates the amount of money that has been applied for and received from other sources.

• Additional people or groups participating as sponsors, partners, etc.
