Accommodation Scholarships at UNE 2024-25

International students wishing to begin their studies full-time on the University of New England Armidale campus in Trimester 1 of 2024 are eligible to apply for the UNE International Student Accommodation Scholarships. Scholarships for couples or students with family members are not offered.

Eligibility for UNE International Accommodation Scholarships:

• The applicant must be a new entrant.
• The applicant must identify as an international student.
• The applicant must be on a student visa.
• The applicant must be above 18 years old.
• The applicant must have a valid COE.
• The applicant must enroll in a CRICOS registered program in Trimester 1, 2025.
• The applicant must remain enrolled full-time during the accommodation scholarship.
• The applicant must pay the contribution towards the scholarship.

Application Process:

All eligible candidates must apply online to be considered for the scholarship. The application should include the following components:

• Offer of Admission to UNE
• Completed UNE International Student Accommodation Scholarship application form
• Register in the UNE Accommodation Portal.

Value of the Scholarship:

The successful candidates are awarded a scholarship worth AUD 4,000. The benefits include the following:

• Fully furnished residential student-style college room with single bed, desk & wardrobe
• Utility costs
• Free internet and Wi-Fi access
• Campus Security 24 hours, 7 days per week
• Dedicated Residential Student Support, including academic support and tutoring
• One free airport or train station transfer after arrival into Armidale
• Residential orientation, activities, and special events.
